Data Attuned collects

• Your Sign in with Apple identifier and, when Apple provides them, your relay or account email and name.
• Subscriptions, searches, recommendation impressions and feedback, preferences, and synchronized playback state.
• Detailed listening sessions: played intervals, media position, playback rate, seeks, skips, rewinds, chapters, interruptions, stalls, playback origin, timestamps, and coarse output-route and foreground state when useful.
• An installation identifier, iPhone device label, registered Apple Push Notification token, request identifiers, and operational security and reliability records.

Downloaded podcast audio and download state remain on your iPhone. Attuned may process public publisher audio and metadata to produce catalog-level artifacts that are not personal account data.

How Attuned uses data

Attuned uses account data to synchronize the player, show personal listening metrics, rank and explain recommendations, evaluate product behavior, and train or evaluate Attuned-owned recommendation and content-understanding models. It also produces aggregate operational and product metrics. A materially new use requires an updated disclosure.

Processors and disclosure

Apple provides authentication and push delivery. Cloudflare hosts Attuned’s application, databases, object storage, queues, security controls, and AI gateway. Configured model providers receive only the content and metadata necessary for a specific processing task. Attuned does not permit processors to use listener data for their own model training.

Attuned may disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect the service and its users. It does not provide listener data to advertisers or data brokers.

Retention

Raw listening events remain available while an account exists so all-time reports and versioned metric recomputation remain possible. Operational logs, temporary processing artifacts, backups, and de-identified aggregates use documented, configurable retention policies. The default retention for a completed, dissociated deletion receipt is 30 days. Public catalog and content-understanding artifacts that do not identify a listener may remain after an account is deleted.

Delete your account

Settings in the Attuned app contains a direct Delete Account flow. It requires fresh Apple reauthentication and explicit confirmation. Attuned immediately invalidates sessions and push registrations and removes local account-linked caches. An observable, retryable job then revokes the Sign in with Apple token and deletes server-side personal data. Only a dissociated operational receipt is retained for the configured status-reporting period.
